Starberry Cupcake: Hunger Games inspired eye make up #2
Remember this Hunger Games inspired eye make up I did? No? Well now you do!
I decided to give the Hunger Games make up another shot and created a Finnick/Annie inspired make up. I had to brighten up the pictures a bit because the light in my room isn’t helping at all.

I’m also a teeny bit bugged by his voice, though there’s not much I can actually say since the clip was so short. But am I the only one who pictured (heard?) his voice more… light and airy? Almost Luna Lovegood-esque, but not quite to the same end. The voice of quiet strength and knowledge. A lighter voice because he doesn’t need his voice to show his opinions — only his designs.]]

[[ Poor Remmy will be stuck in lala land after that generator explosion since I’m not only still in the midst of NaNoWriMo and tests and prep before finals, but I also managed to get sick — setting everything back even more. BLAARRG.
So my thoughts on the trailer will come later. Hopefully I will manage to keep relatively up to date on the Reapings though! Just gotta keep up with Remmy’s story, which is just all random crap at the moment.

Gale/Katniss/Peeta: Love Partner vs True Partner
[[ I was just thinking about this while looking up some writing tips on making believable romantic relationships through a psychological POV, and I remembered something I read in a book…
Well it goes like this: There’s some lore about the origin of humans were actually people who had two faces, two sets of arms, two sets of legs, etc. but were ripped a part (i think because a god saw them as a threat or something) so this is part of where we get the idea that humans so deeply desire to be with each other and be one — because we WERE one.
Then, in a book I read, a character referred to this legend, but then supposed that were we to find our true partner, our perfect match… we would be so much like them that there would be no way we could stand to be together in the modern idea of a relationship.
Point: I think this is the case for Katniss and Gale. They were very similar, in very similar circumstances, with a similar fire and drive and personalities (to some extent). In a sense, they are the other’s half - a female and male version of the other. That’s why Katniss couldn’t be with him. She didn’t need another her - especially after everything that happened. And I would think Gale, whether or not it’s what he wanted, would be better off with someone else too. But what Katniss has with Gale, and vis versa (or had… considering the ending kinda broke it) is something NO ONE ELSE could replace. They’re just not each other’s love partner.
So yeah, just some interesting musings in the midst of my NaNo-ing :) ]]

[[So I heard there’s the whole Gamemaker Intern thing going on, which would be very cool (looking at RP team or Content team) but I’m not sure I should commit myself to something ELSE to do, and how this may affect my status on other sites as Remmy. I heard she’d be “moved out” to the Capitol, which is exciting, but does that mean she/I can’t represent D5 anymore? Blarg I can’t decide. Maybe I’ll just make another character… actually I think I might just do that…
